14 Go Boing!

14 children from our Worcester and Dudley offices went BOING this February half term on a high energy family trip to Boing Zone in Stourbridge.

The trip to the fab Boing Zone Trampolining Centre in Stourbridge was one of two exciting activities organised for the children - looked after and foster carers' own children - to help keep them entertained over the dull February half term. Not surprisingly there was a fabulous turn out with 14 children from 8 families enjoying an intense hour of exercise bouncing and flipping and launching themselves into giant pools of foam blocks. Needless to say the children all finished the session red-faced, out of breath and smiling from ear to ear!

The trampolining trip was a first for some of the children and a great chance for the rest to develop their bouncing skills. Our Family Workers Tracey and Rachel were pleased to note that all the children, irrespective of whether they were visiting for the first time or had been there several times before, watched and listened attentively to the safety video before the session and everyone enjoyed the facilities sensibly and safely. As well as being great fun the outing was another opportunity for our families from the Worcester and Dudley offices to spend a little bit of R&R time together, something which we know is of great value to the children, foster carers and staff alike.
