Foster Carer Tax Webinar

foster carer tax mainConsidering fostering, or already a foster carer, and confused about tax? Quite possibly!

Fortunately HMRC is holding a foster carer tax webinar on 13th April, 2015 at 11am, which aims make it all perfectly clear!

The webinar is for anyone considering becoming a foster carer and for people already fostering who would like to clarify their tax position with HMRC.

In our experience, many people coming into fostering, or thinking about it, have paid their tax through PAYE and have never had to prepare their own tax returns. We know it can seem like a daunting prospect, but it's actually a lot simpler than you might think, and this webinar will help to show that. Of course, if you decide to join the Family Fostercare family and foster with us, we will be able to provide you any extra help and advice you might need until it all becomes second nature.

The webinar is a basic guide to foster carer tax and National Insurance issues affecting Foster Carers. It explains what Qualifying Care Relief is and how it works, how to keep records and what to put on your tax return. There will also be a Questions and Answers session at the end, so you will have the opportunity to get further clarification on any of the points covered if needed.

The webinar lasts for about an hour and as long as you have internet access you can take part from wherever suits you. You can use a laptop, iPad, iPhone or Android phone/tablet.

If you want to join the webinar, just click the link below and follow the instructions to register. You will then receive reminders and further instructions on how to access the webinar closer to the time:
