Spring News Roundup

Welcoming New Members to the Family!

We welcomed 2 new foster families to the FFC family in Cumbria in March. One of our lovely new foster carers is from Ulverston and our other new foster family is from Barrow-in-Furness. We're delighted to say that they have already welcomed their first child into their home and everything is going great. Glad to have you all on board!

Celebrating Children's Achievements

  • 15 year old Kaylah made her carer a cake after being with her for 1 week. Her carer said the cake was delicious!
  • 17 year old Finn is showing he has what it takes to make positive changes in his community. He has applied to be on the Fishing Committee after he was concerned with how a pond close to his foster home was being maintained. Great work Finn, we really admire your positive drive to Be The Change!
  • 15 year old Roisin raised £75 in 15 minutes at a charity fundraiser for Dogs Trust. £5 per minute - that's impressive, well done!
  • 16 year old Yolanda was presented with no less than 4 - yep FOUR! - awards at a ceremony at her school. Fantastic work!
