Things got colourful at FFC Cumbria last month as Registered Manager Donna Turner and other game members of staff completed the 5k Colour Run for charity. Fortunately they all look fabulous in yellow!
For anyone not in the know, the Colour Run (also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet) is a unique colour race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community. Participants start in pure white and are doused from head to toe in different coloured powder at each kilometre. The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic “Color Festival,” using more coloured powder to create happiness and lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid colour combinations.
The FFC Cumbria team ran the race in support of the Hospice at Home in Carlisle. Well done to you all!
