Great News for FFC Foster Carers Mick and Julie

MikeandJulieFFC foster carers Mick and Julie are celebrating this week (with the help of a card and bottle of champagne presented by Granville on behalf of the Directors) after receiving the news that their placement of two young boys has been made permanent.

Mick and Julie, who live in Milton Keynes and are attached to our East Midlands office based in the city, have been fostering the two young boys for four years. The news of the agreement by the Local Authority to make the placement a long-term arrangement means that the boys' future is cemented, and that Mick and Julie can continue to access the full range of back-up support services provided by FFC which are so fundamental to the boys' ongoing care needs as they grow.

The importance of stability and security to childrens' outcomes cannot be over-estimated, and permanent long-term fostering arrangements help to provide this for children who are unable to return to their birth family. Everyone in the Family Fostercare family are delighted to know that this week two more children can look forward to a brighter, more stable future thanks to the hard work, love and committment of their foster carers.

Congratulations once again Mick and Julie, we all send you and your family our warmest wishes for your future together.
