Family Fostercare Director Granville Orange and his wife Christine were honoured to attend a Garden Party hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on May 28th 2015.
The invitation was in recognition of the extensive voluntary work that Granville does, and especially the incredible £100,000 plus raised by the Worcestershire Ambassadors during Granville’s 2 years as Chairman. All the money raised by the Worcestershire Ambassadors goes to local charities, and the aim of the organisation is to promote Worcestershire as a great place to “Work, Live or Visit”.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were both in attendance at the Garden Party, taking the opportunity to recognise and thank their guests for their contribution to society.
The weather was kind, and the tea, cucumber sandwiches and Battenberg cake were as beautifully presented and moreish as one might expect – fit for royalty in fact!
