Family Fostercare Cumbria Fostering Team

I am MBACP (Accred) a member of UK PTS, (UK Psychological trauma Society) and ESTSS (European Society for traumatic Stress Studies) and a member of CCYP, (Counselling Children and Young People).

I have been a trained Therapist for many years, much of which has been spent working for/with fostering agencies in England and in Scotland. I am interested in trauma work with children and families.

My practice is Humanistic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Systemic, Play and Creative work. I facilitate training and group work and enjoy being part of Family Fostercare’s team. I have always believed that a good nurturing home for children supports them to grow, develop and give them confidence and trust in the world.
